Apple has been selling their so called amazing handset for three days. You’d never guess how many iPhones were sold! Well, yeah you would, I just told you. Apple sold 1 million 3G iPhones in 3 days which is remarkable. I guess other cell phone manufacturers are craving for that efficiency.

The millionth iPhone was sold on Sunday no matter the problems that occured. The first generation iPhone was too a success but only 270,000 handsets were sold. It took Apple 74 days to sell the millionth iPhone and now they did in just 3 days.

The difference is of course the worldwide release of the 3G iPhone. 22 countries took part in in an heavily contributed to reaching that million goal.
Things will not stop there. It’s been estimated that Apple will sell 5.1 million in the first three months, and another 6.5 million more by December. This is the point where you, the other developers out there, get back to the drawing board in order to create a phone which will be able to put up a decent fight.
