23 Dec 09 Apple showing off Tablet next month?

Reports are popping up that say Apple is planning to debut their long rumored tablet next month at a currently unannounced event.

Additionally, a select group of iPhone app developers are reportedly being told to prepare apps that will run at full screen rather than a 320 x 480 resolution found on the iPhone. Does this mean that developers will be porting a lot of their apps from the iPhone to this new tablet device?

Oh but wait, Apple has yet to even confirm this device’s existence. I guess we’ll have to wait until January to confirm or deny these rumors.
