It’s time for Apple to report its earnings for its fiscal third quarter of the year which ended on June 27 so go grab the pop corn since this one is pretty interesting. LG has had a record quarter and so did Apple. In fact this fiscal third quarter is the best non-holiday quarter of the company. The company sold 5.2 million iPhones which is a 626% growth from last year. It also sold 10.2 million iPods and 2.6 million Macs. That totals to $1.23 billion in profits and $8.34 billion in sales.

Steve Jobs had this to say about the whole quarter:

We’re making our most innovative products ever and our customers are responding. We’re thrilled to have sold over 5.2 million iPhones during the quarter and users have downloaded more than 1.5 billion applications from our App Store in its first year.

Did you buy anything from Apple lately?
