If you haven’t noticed, the new iPod shuffle today may have come with a VoiceOver Kit. Apparently, Apple has released an updated edition of that software though minimal information has been revealed regarding it.

But Apple has made it clear that the necessary revisions have been done, including the corrected pronunciations for several artist names. It features some other bug fixes. The new iPod Shuffle uses this technology to speak back the names of the artists along with playlists and songs.

It is currently available through the Mac OS X software update utility.
