Apple not letting apps use Core Location only for advertising

Considering the App Store is being absolutely flooded with downloads, it is the perfect opportunity to get some advertisements out there. And, considering the fact that it has built in GPS, it’s the perfect opportunity for advertisement providers to provide some incredibly targeted ads.

Well, it seems that if app developers are using Core Location just to provide targeted ads, Apple is going to reject the app and ask them to remove the call. This is quite unfortunate for developers looking to monetize their apps further and probably out of the blue considering users can actually reject the invitation to let the app use their location.
