Apple Locks Down iPhone Platform

app_storeIt looks like Apple has something planned again and it concerns advertising through its Apple platform. Apple is said to be prohibiting the use of GPS for serving location aware ads which limits the iPhone to just give out important information.

Apple has acquired ad company Quattro Wireless and from the looks of it, Apple will be launching a mobile advertising network which will be serving ads on free apps.
