Unless there was indeed a typographical error, it looks like Apple is doing something that we don’t know as far as the forgotten iPhone 8GB devices are concerned. There were rumors about this iPhone 8GB with 3GS back in August. And from the looks of it, the iPhone 8GB 3GS is practically here (well sort off). A certain German forum user who ordered an iPhone 8GB 3G found on the packaging label that he actually got the latest model iPhone 8GB 3GS.

Perhaps it would be best to wait for the official word from Apple before getting all excited. Besides, they will be holding a special event this January making it the best time to verify if the new iPhone 8GB 3GS is indeed official.
