Apple has officially declared that its iPhone stocks have been sold out at UK and US online stores. Before, it was rumoured that the iPhones were out of stock at carriers like the O2.

No one knows why the latest 8GB and 16GB versions have been sold out. Even the apple spokesperson remained mum on whether a new version will hit stores or not.

But, Apple must know, it can not maintain silence for long, as people will speculate on the highly anticipated 3G Version.
