Apple iPhone Now Delivers Eight Hours Talk Time
Just days before the release of the Apple iPhone, the company announced that the phone will deliver a long battery life. This means that you will get up to 8 hours talk time, 6 hours of browsing the interwebs, 7 hours of video playback and most importantly, 24 hours of audio playback. However, the Apple standard disclaimer does tell us that these times are network-dependent.
That puts the iPhone in the league of serious MP3 players. Indeed, the top surface is now enhanced from plastic to optical-quality glass for better scratch resistance.
At the announcement, Jobs added, "There has never been a phone like iPhone, and we can't wait to get this truly magical product into the hands of customers starting just 11 days from today."
In case you haven't marked your calendars yet, the iPhone will hit the markets starting June 29. The 4GB model is priced at $499 and 8GB at $599.
