Apple iPhone is Not Widescreen

After the keynote address by Steve Jobs at MacWorld last week, many found out that the iPhone is not widescreen after all. According to sources, the screen for the iPhone is 1.5:1 rather than the widely known 1.78:1 16οΎ—9 aspect ratio of a truly wide screen device.

My take on this: It's not a big deal. Others, however, might feel differently....
