Apple iPhone 3G by Mid-2008: Analysts

|
iPhone 3G

According to analysts Piper Jaffray and American Technology Research, the 3G version of the Apple iPhone may be available by mid-2008. Analyst Gene Munster expects Apple to come out with Mac upgrades - including faster processors and more storage. Another device that could be announced at next year's MacWorld is an ultra-portable device featuring a screen between 11 to 13 inches (diag). And of course, this may also include multi-touch technology found on the iPod touch and iPhone.

Apple could also announce a major movie rental service via iTunes. Personally, I am tired of renting movies on the web, but with Apple, you never know what they come up with.
