When the iPad was first announced, Apple didn’t give us an exact release date which had many fanboys getting a bit skemish. Luckily, the company has just announced that the iPad will be made officially available on April 3rd. Make note, that the version shipping on April 3rd is the one with no 3G, those are still slated for a late April release.

And, even better, if you have the money to blow on Apple’s debut tablet you’ll be able to pre-order the device on March 12th. Oh joy!
