Apple iPad ad during the Oscars looks interesting in slo-mo

Last night, the Oscars had a 30-second ad for the iPad. It was filled with a lot of scattershot imagery to blow our minds at how cool the iPad is with its multiple applications. Makes you long for April 3rd, doesn’t it?

A man named Neil Curtis took the footage from the ad, slowed it down, and added his own commentary (with captions and weird sound effects). What he says is quite poignant, and points out the many fallacies on this ad that really show that the iPad isn’t all that.

The iPad commercial that appeared on the Oscars last night is above, but the Neil Curtis take is after the jump.
