Apple Invents iPhone Winter GlovesBy Chris - 01/02/2009 9:39:48 AM |

If you happen to own any type of touchscreen phone and you’re out in the snow these days, then you are probably annoyed when having to make or answer calls. If you happened to have a touch-friendly glove for winter that wouldn’t be a problem anymore, would it?
Well Apple is ready to deal with winter when it comes to its iPhone and iPod touch. The company has filed a patent for specially designed gloves to work with touchscreens. Capacitive touchscreens depend on the electrical response from your fingers. A winter glove will block them but an Apple glove will let you manipulate your iPhone even in freezing cold.
Apple will place an inner layer in those gloves which will stimulate electrical feedback of human fingers. The apertures at each fingertip will let you remove the outer layer and have your finger protected only by the inner layer thus letting you control the iPhone or iPod touch.
