Apple & Cisco Working Together to Make iPhones Compatible

|

iPhone_cisco_apple.jpgCisco and Apple both have been developing their own device sharing the iPhone name. Back in February the companies agreed to share the name. They are now exploring multiple ways for their products to work together. Steve Jobs is discussing how to make Apples iPhone compatible with Cisco’s business and consumer equipment. Cisco wants the Apple iPhone to work with its corporate phone systems.

With a partnership, users would be able to use the same services such as instant messaging and teleconferencing on their Cisco desk phones and Apple iPhones. When the Apple iPhone is finally release there will be two models available, a 4GB model for $499 and an 8GB for $599.
