0727Trackpad_1_610x517I didn’t hear of any big presentation from Steve Jobs, but Apple has some new products out.

They unveiled new iMacs that use Intel’s newest processors like the Core i3, i5, and i7 for a 50 percent increase of processing power. The slot in the iMac supports SDXC format, which means you have access to larger storage cards.

The 21.5-inch iMac starts with a 3.06GHz i3 processor and the ATI Radeon HD 4670 discrete graphics with 256MB GDDR3. The high-end 27-inch 2560×1440 resolution iMac comes with a 2.8GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor and ATI Radeon HD 5750 discrete graphics with 1GB GDDR5, and costs $1,999.

Also unveiled is the Magic Trackpad, a peripheral that will “bring the power of gestures to the Mac”. It is intended for the use of those who love finger swiping and pinching on their iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches. It will cost about $69.
