09 Sep 09 Apple Announced the iPod touch 3G
The third generation of iPod touches is upon us. Apple has managed to sell no less than 20 million iPod touches so far and that’s out of the total of 225 million iPods sold to date. And Apple hasn’t missed the opportunity today to show everyone what a great thing the iPod touch is. It does music, video and it does games too. All that one could wish for, right?
Surely that’s not something we don’t already know so let’s get right to the next generation iPod touch and its features newest features:
- Storage: 8GB/32GB/64GB available for $199/$299/$399
- Open GL/ES v2.0 support
- More games and more content
So what do you say? Does the iPod touch 3G sound a lot better compared to your current iPod touch? Would you go ahead and pay $399 for the new version?

ya I would pay that i love my ipod touch 1g and it will even be better! i would have to save up but i would b able to do it
it was a smart move for steve jobs not to put a camera though…i expected that….BUISSINESS WISE ANYWAYS….because then nobody would buy the iPhone, or at least a lot less…becasue the only difference is the phone part and now that the headphones have speakers…you can use skype for a phone…so if he put a camera there would be no difference…
The Apple iPod Touch 3G is very good upgraded model from the 2G, but the only problem is no camera, same functions, and the 8GB is standard as the 2G!!??? i mean what the hell where Apple thinking about?
