We kept talking about how Verizon is not going to get a CDMA iPhone soon and how AT&T will keep its grip on that exclusivity iPhone agreement. Until today that was all true. Now it looks like Verizon wants the iPhone and not only does it want it but it’s working on it with Apple. According to USA Today the iPhone will be going to Verizon as soon as the exclusivity deal expires. I hope you’re sitting down for this: the Verizon iPhone will run on the CDMA network which is quite the contrary of what we knew so far. Isn’t iPhone 2010 going to use that fresh 4G LTE network?

um, yeah. the iphone better come to verizon.

like shut up .who are you
iphone rocks
I have an iPhone and I love it. If they are making an LTE iphone for Verizon, i’m dumbing AT&T and hooking up with Verizon, sure i’ll pay that $200. Apple is the greediest company to ever exist, I wouldn’t be surprise if Steve Jobs was the son of the devil. That being said, I’m sure Apple will hook up with Verizon if that’ll mean more money for them. They already sold x million of iPhones, why not sell to the other y million, then join T-Mobile and Sprints for the z million.
LOL shut up edfvef, you’re no body. It’s really up to Verizon because they need to choose between the iPhone or Microsoft’s new phone (Pink I think).
lets just say the phones will be similiar but it is the network……\

Of course vzw will get their cdma version of the iphone, it is only a matter of time. After eating up alltel vzw is the largest carrier in the US. You better believe apple wants a piece of that. After all, they went to vzw first with the iphone. It was rejected by vzw execs bc apple wanted control over the phone (warranties, repair, etc) vzw does not operate that way and lost the biggest customer add on ever. Making the cdma version is as easy as swapping a gsm chipset for cdma, vzw learned their lesson and know they got burned. They will have their iphone soon. You will see a microsoft phone too for zune addicts but it will phase out as quick as motorola did after the razor. By the way vzw LTE will also be cdma tech, no gsm from what I understand. Even though their owners voda use gsm.
I actually got word from a reliable source that the iPhone will no longer be available. Apple is cancelling it. They are pulling out of the electronics arena. Trust me.
