Just when I thought I was finished covering big acquisitions with HP buying Palm, I have just heard that Apple has acquired Siri for about $100 to $200 million.
Siri is a company that makes a virtual assistant app, and it learns and organizes things like restaurants. It has speech recognition that leads one to believe that Apple is going to Search Engine territory.
