No wonder that absolutely everyone wants their own app store. Apple has scored a hit with this kind of product and now, less than a year later, the iTunes App Store has finally hit one billion downloads. A lucky guy or gal has won a bunch of prizes from Apple. We have no idea who it is but that lucky winner will go home with the following:

• a 17-inch MacBook Pro,
• a 32GB iPod touch,
• a $10,000 iTunes gift card
• a Time Capsule.

That’s well over $13,000 in prizes but I am sure Apple can afford to pay the price, right?
