15 Apr 09 Android OS 1.5 ported to T-Mobile G1

If you’re sick and tired of waiting for Google to officially release the 1.5 update for Android, our friends over at the XDA-Developers community have you covered.

Apparently, these guys have managed to port the software to the G1 after some clever hacking. If you want to venture into these as-of-now uncharted waters, head over to haykuro’s (the guy behind the port) blog and check it out.

But beware, BoyGeniusReport is reporting that Googler is blocking users of the new OS from accessing the Android Market so proceed at your own risk.
