Android Cupcake for T-Mobile G1 users in UK?

Although not everybody, a few of the Android Community members ekeing it out in the United Kingdom have reported getting over-the-air upgrades to the latest OS version of 1.5 for their Android-powered G1s.  A vast majority of T-Mobile subscribers are yet to receive their upgrade notifications, but can expect their piece of  (Cup)cake anytime this May.  The 1.5 update, which weighs 44MB, will add a virtual QWERTY keyboard, direct photo/video sharing on Picasa and YouTube, and some under-the-hood improvements such as new JavaScript and webkit engines for a better browsing experience.

People here in the US need not feel left out, as the upgrade is slowly reaching users across the Europe and USA too.
