Android 3.0 will be known as GingerbreadBy Mark Rollins - 05/20/2010 5:45:59 PM |
The Google I/O conference is probably going to involve an announcement of Android version 2.2, or FroYo, for short.
It surprises me to know that Android 3.0 is already under development, and it even has a name. Apparently, it is called Gingerbread. Yes, that is an unusual name.
We don’t know much about it, except it will be out sometime in Q4. It will also include WebM, an open-source, royalty-free online media standard from Google.
