Verizon announced not too long ago that the Motorola Droid‘s OS would be getting updated to version 2.0.1 at some point in the near future. Well, the near future is now as reports are coming out that the update is being pushed onto the handset today.
This update includes things like improved visual voicemail, stability and battery life.
