Android 2.0 Donut Available on the G1 Already

It looks like Google has indeed released that Android Donut update which we were talking about the other day. And some developers have been able to install it on an Android Dev Phone 1 / T-Mobile G1 version already. The version is not exactly that stable and it might crash one too many times but at least some people get the chance to play around with Donut.

Those of you already running Android 1.5 on their smartphone will also be able to switch it to a cooked 1.5 build filled with 2.0 features until a stable Donut version will be officially available. As always, don’t play with any software if you’re not exactly sure what you’re doing.
