Now that everyone is on a Froyo 2.2 trip, the HTC Desire is in line.

In fact, it seems to have been cutting to the front of the line. Actually, it is an Android 2.2 build from udk_dev, and it does have some bugs and kinks in it. Apparently, it can be downloaded at the XDA-Developers forum.

If you don’t want to get this thing now, you can wait until 2.2 comes officially in Q3 of this year.
