While I’m was checking out my battery time and 3G connection, I just found out that American Airlines flights from New York and Los Angeles will have a small surprise for their passengers. American Airlinehttp://www.mobilewhack.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?posted=6379
Mobilewhack.com › Create New Post — WordPresss will test their future in-flight WiFi service called GoGo which will be provided by AirCell.
There are 15 767-200 airplanes waiting ready with WiFi connections already installed. Hopefully everything will go perfectly fine so others will start implementing this service. Why not go online while you are flying? American Airlines will offer WiFi on flights from New York to Miami and San Francisco and I will be waiting for more airlines to equip their fleet with WiFi support.
How much does it cost? Well tomorrow is free, but if all goes according to plan, accessing your mail while flying will cost $12.95 for a three hour flight and $9.95 for shorter flights. Well, not that expensive if you feel you can’t make it without some Internet action. And while we’re at it, don’t expect any VoIP support yet.
I need a power source fast!
