American Airlines Goes Mobile
This week, American Airlines has announced the availability of AA.com via mobile web. Now users with PDAs and cell phones which can access mobile internet can take advantage of this new service and access various features such as checking flight schedules and viewing itineraries. You don't even have to worry about stretching your bandwidth because American Airlines optimizes the content when it realizes you're using a mobile browser although you can also opt to view the full HTML version if you wish. In spring, American Airlines will even broaden the scope of what the mobile web site can do, even allowing customers to book flights, view fare specials, and change reservations. It'll also be available, eventually, in the Spanish language.
