America Movil Forms Alliance with Yahoo! Inc.

After the news about Japan's NTT DoCoMo and Google, here comes another mobile provider company and search engine giant tie-up. Latin America's leading mobile service provider, America Movil, has partnered with Yahoo! to bring the latter's oneSearch service to all of American Movil's subscribers. This means Yahoo! will be default mobile Internet search engine for the providers' customers in 16 countries throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. Yahoo! will be customizing the oneSearch service for each of the 16 countries in the future. Yahoo! oneSearch would bring a whole new experience to America Movil subscribers since Yahoo! integrates different features into the service such as weather reports, flickr, financial conditions, and image search among others.
