GPS is continuing to improve and Amcor is speeding it up. Announced today, Amcor will be releasing a series of GPS systems that features vamped up graphical technology with 3D images of buildings, topography, and landmarks. While we've seen this in the likes of Google Earth, Amcor hopes to put the technology to practical use with their new line of GPS systems. The 3D images will be dynamic and will have the ability to switch to night screen graphics making for easier viewing with minimal lighting. Priced in the ranges of $149.99-$279.99 the 6 units will hit the market sometime in 2008.
