The new Amazon Kindle is going to be revealed soon but since you hate waiting for all those specs we have some cool leaked information for you. The Kindle DX (yes, that’s the new name) will have a 9.7-inch display, a built-in PDF reader, the ability of adding annotations, notes and highlights, an optional $9.95/month New York Times subscription and optional textbooks for chemistry, computer schience and a freshman seminar. Those textbooks will be included this fall for students attending the courses of the Case Western Reserve University and other five schools are also interested in giving this new Kindle a test run. If you’re going to be a student at Pace, Princeton, Reed, Arizona State or the Darden School at the Univeristy of Virginia then you might just be issued one new Kindle this year.

We’ll be back with more details when Amazon will make its official announcement.
