Aigo has presented the E500 which is a MID – mobile internet device – running the Android 1.5 operative system, which will cost close to $235 and will first become available in China.
Specification-wise the Aigo E500 features a ARM+dsp dual core processor running at 600MHz, a 5-inch touchscreen display, and comes with 128MB of memory RAM. The internal storage capacity can either have 8GB or 16GB, and the battery life can last up to 6 hours in video playback mode. Besides providing access to the internet, the Aigo E500 can also playback video files including RM, RMVB, AVI, MOV, FLV, and MVK.
