Addonics presents NAS AdapterBy Tony - 12/11/2008 10:04:22 PM |

Addonics has come up with a small yet useful device for people that use a lot of different USB flash drives. It is entitled Addonics NAS and can be seen as an adapter that easily makes USB flash drive become part of a LAN network. For the features it can provide, its price tag is rather cheap – only $55.
The Addonics NAS supports a few network protocols like Samba and SMB, and is compatible with a couple of operative systems, including Windows, Macs, and Linux 2.6x. Unusual features of this adapter: providing FTP access, working as a bit-torrent file downloading appliance, and being easy to configure as a print server.
