Acer’s Frameless laptop, with touchscreen keyboardBy Mark Rollins - 03/08/2010 3:28:32 PM |
I believe that Fujitsu and Asus have been working to create a frameless laptop, and this shot, taken from the DigiTimes, is Acer’s offering.
You will note that Acer’s concept device has a touchscreen keyboard. The screen is possible due to a reinforced glass substrate from Corning, which prints the colors directly to the back of the display.
So, is this the shape of things to come for laptops and netbooks? I guess that time will tell.
