Acer shelves plans for e-book readerBy Mark Rollins - 02/24/2010 3:22:20 PM |
We have previously reported that Acer was making an e-book reader, but I have just learned that this project has been shelved.
I’m not certain why Acer isn’t doing an e-book reader, but honestly, I can see why? Does the world really need another e-book reader? I mean, how many more do we need?
It makes me wonder if they are planning on doing that tablet that they were also talking about. I have been seeing a lot of tablets that are planned to hit the market. Hopefully, that App Store will be on track. We’ll see if this takes.
