Aspire Ethos is the name of the new series of laptops developed by Acer, and its latest units include the 5943G and 8943G which don’t have a price tag yet, nor an availability date.

Anyhow, the 8943G model has a bigger screen size of 18.4-inches and the 5943G is smaller at 15.6-inches. In terms of processors it can either have an Intel Core i5 or i7 and the memory RAM can go up to 4GB of DDR3. On the other hand we’ve got a dedicated graphics card powered by an ATI Radeon HD5850 with 1GB, and the storage capacity has a limit of 1.28TB thanks to the use of two hard-drives. The new Aspire Ethos notebooks can include a a DVT-T TV Tuner as an optional module, and the HDMI and VGA outputs are also present. While the bigger laptop has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, the smaller one can display a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
