Acer has recently presented their new Aspire AS5741 laptop in Japan, which is available with a starting price of $740 and can go up to $1,100.

There are two settings for the Acer Aspire AS5741:
- an Intel Core i3-330M processor with 320GB on the hard-drive, and 2GB on the memory RAM, and a DVD Super Multi;
- an Intel Core i5-430M with the same hard-drive but with more memory RAM – 4GB – and besides the DVD Super Multi there is an optional blu-ray drive;

Other features include a 15.6-inch monitor that provides a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, HDMI out, and a 1.3-megapixel web camera.
