Acer Aspire 3811TZ and 3811TZG Biodegradable Laptops

Acer of America has unveiled a couple of new eco-friendly laptops with the release of the Aspire 3811TZ and 3811TZG. These laptops are biodegradable and are free from the usual toxic materials such as PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and BFR (brominated flame retardants).

They are powered by an Intel ULV Core 2 DUO, which should account for their energy efficiency. They measure just 13.3” and have been lauded by Greenpeace.org. There is no word and pricing for now.
