A Sylvania Netbook SurfacesBy Chris - 07/31/2008 6:25:07 PM |
More manufacturers are entering the netbook business and that’s not a good thing. Or maybe it isn’t because it will determine Asus and MSI to come up with better netbook solutions. It surely is annoying. At this rate I might simply start my own Eee-like business and tell you guys about it.
But let’s stick to Sylvania, as they are the newest company to start making netbooks for us. Their G Meso will be a 8.9 inch netbook powerd by an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor and a choice of 512MB RAM or one full GB. There’s a 80GB hard drive, LED backlight and a battery supposed to last for 4 hours.
Sylvania wants to sell it for just $299. Does that mean we would get an Ubuntu version? Or a really cheap XP?
