Sure, our mobile devices can serve as Universal remotes, and all sort of interesting ways to control something from a long or short distance, but here’s a way that a mobile can control a robot.
Two web engineers have created a truckbot, which has an HTC G1 attached to the robot body. Using the G1 allows it to act as a brain with its built-in compass to navigate and turn with specific directions.
I suppose that we’ll soon be putting Androids into androids. Get it? Did you see what I did there?
