802.11v WiFi to go Environement Friendly

A new WiFi standard is going to be emerging soon. It’s the 802.11v which will be environement friendly. Work on the v has started in 2004 and it’s expected to be ready by 2010. Once completed it will have features like Wireless Network Management Sleep Mode which will allow longer power-off times. Wake on WLAN will be added so the various wireless gadgets could be wirelessly awoken.

The v standard will have new location features like RFID and emergency services with greater accuracy. Which WiFi protocol are you using and why? We are talking about 802.11v when we aren’t all that used with the n standard protocol.
