Traditionally, with previous generation iPhones, Apple has announced the devices, usually in June, and then released them around a month later, usually in July. However, according to BGR, Apple is doing things a bit differently with the forthcoming 4th generation iPhone.

Apparantly, they hooked up with someone from AT&T who says the device will not only be announced this June, but will also be released in the same month. There isn’t much weight behind this rumor considering the device has yet to make an FCC appearance.

Perhaps Apple is rushing the device onto the market to secure their market share? Who knows, but the new iPhone is coming, and soon.
