45,000 iPhones to be Purchased by Köln University for Students

The iPhone strikes again somewhere in Europe. Köln, Germany is the exact place where the local University has decided to buy an iPhone for each and every student attending its courses. No less than 45,000 are going to be purchased by the university for the students. The excuse is perfect! Students will be able to stay in touch with their teachers and stay on top of their schedules. An application for the iPhone is said to be created. It will manage university life, schedules and more. My question is, will the students keep the iPhones after finishing their studies?
