All The Latest Cell Phone and Mobile Electronics News

With less than a week to go, more and more details and hot tips and pictures are magically surfacing. If I were Steve Jobs I’d hire a whole rumor department to spread their so called news and to leak stuff to us bloggers and news reporters months before events such as the WWDC. It’s absolutely free and viral publicity.
And than I would come out confirming part of them and infirming others, while I am releasing a product so many people will be craving for.
That’s what happens with the 3G iPhone. And here are the news for today. Apparently a small birdie (as all rumor’s are carried by tiny birds) has confirmed that the new iPhone will have 3G, GPS, better battery life and two memory versions, 16 and 32GB. Oh and although there’s so much stuff inside, the iPhone is going to be 22% thinner and also cheaper. Will the iPhone be subsidized? Of course it will, but who will do it? Apple themselves or just the carriers?
All that from a birdie. For a rumor this is not bad at all as apparently it’s backed up by The London Times. According to them, the iPhone will sell for $200 in the UK so it can compete with BlackBerry.
I wonder how many “iPhone leaks” I will deliver in the next 6 days.
