All iPhone owners would like to use their iPhone as a modem for once in a while. You know, those times when your ISP decides to act crazy for a couple of days can be really annoying. Tethering your iPhone would come in handy right?

And Apple managed to allow iPhone tethering and disallow it all in one days work. We are talking about an application called NetShare from Nullriver. NetShare was available in the App store earlier on today for just $9.99. In the mean time Apple must have realized what this application does and how it’s so against AT&T’s policy about iPhone tethering that they canceled it.

While Apple did take the application down, you might want to jailbreak your device and get NetShare directly from Nullriver. Lucky those that have already downloaded it.

Here’s what Nullriver had to say:

We’re not quite sure why Apple took down the application yet, we’ve received no communication from Apple thus far. NetShare did not violate any of the Developer or AppStore agreements. We’re hoping we’ll get some feedback from Apple tomorrow. Sorry to all the folks that couldn’t get it in time. We’ll do our best to try to get the application back onto the AppStore if at all possible. At the very least, I would hope Apple will allow it in countries where the provider does permit tethering.
