It’s always fun to compare cell phone plans between different continents, especially when we are talking about the same device. And when the device is the 3G iPhone, a handset everyone keeps buzzing about, we simply have to report plans and prices when we hear about them. We are going to take a quick look at iPhone plans in Denmark and the Netherlands.

T-Mobile is the carrier bringing Apple’s device in the Netherlands. T-Mobile will have three different plans. The cheapest plan will cost $48 per month and it will include 150 minutes, 150 SMS messages and unlimited data. The iPhone will cost $127 or $254 depending on version.

The $71 per month will offer 300 minutes, 300 SMS messages and unlimited data. The iPhone will cost $1.58 or $127 depending on version. The most expensive plan from T-Mobile will cost you $103 per month and it will include 500 minutes, 500 SMS messages and unlimited data. The iPhone will cost $1.58 or $32.

Any plan is 24 months long version comes with a $83 one time activation charge. You will get visual voicemail and access to 1500 WiFi spots which is not that bad. 3G speeds will be around 2048Kbps download and 384Kbps upload.

If you are following this from Denmark, then keep your eyes on Telia, as it has a totally different iPhone offer. They have a single iPhone offer which will cost $128 per month for the first six months. You will get 300 minutes, unlimited calls to other Telia subscribers, unlimited SMS and, unfortunatelly, just 300MB of data. The 3G iPhone will sell for $298 or $426. Why is this so different? Well, after six months you can cancel your contract and keep the iPhone. In case you want to keep Telia’s plan after those first six months, the price will be reduced from $128 to $82 per month.

T-Mobile seems to have a great offer on their hands, while Telia has an original one. They sure beat some of the plans we’ve already seen so far.
