If Portugal is where you currently live and if you want an iPhone in a few days, then head on over to Vodafone Portugal for their iPhone offers. Vodafone has announced their plans and prices for the 3G iPhone and there are three versions, for every budget.

The Best iPhone 100 plan is the cheapest available plan. You get 100 minutes, 100 SMS and 250MB of data for $47 per month. The 8GB iPhone will cost $469 this way while the 16GB version will cost $610. Quite expensive if you ask me. And this is a two year plan too.

The next version of a plan is the Best iPhone 230 and it includes 230 minutes, 230 SMS and 250MB of data for $70 per month. The 8GB iPhone costs $344 and the 16GB costs $485. Still too much to pay for Apple’s handset.

The ultimate Best iPhone 500 plan includes 500 minutes, 500 SMS and 250 MB of data for $102 per month. The 8GB iPhone costs $202 while the 16GB will cost $344. Any additional minutes will cost between $0.15 and $0.23 and all prices include tax.

If you want an iPhone without a plan, the 8GB iPhone will cost you $783 while the 16GB model will sell for $940. Data access is limited at 250MB per month for $31. That’s too much for too little. The prices seem a bit inflated with the data plans limited at 250MB per month. And it’s nowhere near close to what Steve Jobs said about iPhone plans. Hopefully Vodafone didn’t get inspired by Canadian Rogers.
