Mexico is getting the 3G iPhone too and Telcel is the carrier which will sell it. I must tell you right now that the iPhone plans in Mexico, well they aren’t the best we’ve seen so far. I don’t like the very limited data included in any of those three offers and I’d say that both Telcel and Rogers should take a personal moment to consider changing some of their plans.

The low end iPhone plan costs $44 and includes 200 minutes, 100 SMS messages and 100MB of data. The iPhone is priced at either $331 or $454. With $58 per month you will get 300 minutes, 150 SMS messages and 150MB of data. The phone will cost $209 or $331 according to version. The top plan priced at $77 per month will get you 400 minutes, 200 SMS messages and 200MB of data traffic. With this choice of a plan you get Apple’s handset for $86 or $209.

Simply add more data traffic included and you will have winner plans. Otherwise people will start getting those iPhones from other parts of the world. I wouldn’t buy an iPhone in Mexico or Canada just yet.
