With the iPhone physical launch imminent now, carriers around the world have started to roll out their plans and handset prices. We already know what AT&T has in the works for former and future iPhone customers and we tend to compare everything to their offers. We’ve seen carriers around the world coming up with various offers some better than the others.

It’s time for Canada’s Rogers and Fido to reveal their iPhone prices and plans. The 8GB 3G iPhone will sell for $199 while the 16GB version will sell for $299. You will have to activate a three year plan, and yes you heard me right, a three year plan not a two year plan like in most cases.

Plan prices? The lowest 3G voice plan starts at $60/month and it only has to offer about 150 voice minutes, 400MB data, 75 SMS. Pretty lame you say? I agree with that. And if you are counting on unlimited data plans forget it. I don’t how they thought about it but Rogers and Fido will not offer unlimited data plans for the 3G iPhone. Bad boys there, I wasn’t expecting this really! The
highest plan offers just 2GB data transfer. And it comes to $115/month. Way too much if you ask me.

Not that other carriers have true unlimited data plans, as most of them tend to impose a reasonable traffic limit. So how do you prefer you plan to be called? Unlimited but not exactly, or limited like the ones from Rogers and Fido.
