The very few days after the WWDC 2008 we heard how TomTom had an application ready for the 3G iPhone. Soon after that we’ve seen how such an application would contradict the SDK agreement so therefore although viable, no TomTom official GPS navigation application has been released.
Now it appears that we have a confirmed 3G iPhone GPS navigation system from TeleNav. TeleNav has confirmed they will guide 3G iPhone owners via GPS radio for turn by turn navigation in 3D. How about that? What are the guys over at TomTom doing?
And let’s not forget that the GPS radio was not strong enough for turn by turn directions. That’s what Apple said earlier. Did anything change overnight?
You can still check it out and tell us what you think. Just find it through the App Store.
